Hired by the CEO of a $30M technology company to improve operations. Conducted intense 30-day scalability assessment, provided interim Director of Operations.

Supply Chain and Operations Optimization: Largest Privately Owned Packaging Company in North America

The largest privately owned packaging company in North America, with 57 sites and 8,000 employees, required an executive to drive logistics and transportation cost reductions.

Results: LGE Execs identified the winning interim exec within a week and he was on the job within three weeks. He led the development of cost reduction targets and plans for the top 23 plants, established cost reduction reporting methodology, and oversaw the top pilot projects, among other duties. There has been a $1.6M cost reduction over six months, and LGE has been engaged to continue for an additional three months to assist in transition.

Supply Chain and Operations Optimization: $3B Technology Company

Hired by the VP of Supply Chain of a $3B technology company to provide interim leadership after unexpected resignation by operations exec during critical ramp of complex CTO operation. Provided interim operations VP on site within one week and also provided interim materials director within week of resignation of second incumbent. Due to the criticality of the ramp, team held daily conferences to update the CEO and exec team.

Results: Completed ramp of facility in less than 90 days. Increased output of facility by 50%, reduced order backlog by 65% and reduced inventory by 30%. Also assisted in transition of organization after the division was successfully sold to another technology company. LGE helped turn a tactical crisis into a strategic and victorious transaction by the company.
